Predicting the Future: More Bad or Good at Last

I am not particularly good at predicting the future. But here we are at the beginning of a new year. So why not?

It seems to me things could go either of two ways: more bad, or good at last. Of course I would prefer good at last. And we know the good will come at last (read Revelation). But timing isn’t up to me.

my favorite New Year quote

More Bad

It’s a presidential election year, and it’s a strange one. The leading Republican candidate—by overwhelming percentage points, such that no one else really needs to bother—is former President Donald Trump. Maybe the challengers are hanging on in hopes of something untoward happening to Donald Trump, or because they think their “next in line” status might boost them to the VP slot, which is not going to be offered to Mike Pence ever again. Or maybe they are simply oblivious to reality, blinded by their own glaring narcissism.

That means the upcoming primary election for the Republicans will be fairly simple. It’s only two months away (with some variation by state). It should go smoothly, if polling is even in the ballpark of accurate.

And yet, the desperation of the Democrat (and anti-Trump Republican) efforts to prevent the obvious and inevitable is startling. I lose count, but I think there are five lawsuits against Trump underway right now, timed to interfere with the primary season and the rest of the election year. (Read more here.) You would think that, in even a single unprecedented lawsuit against a former president—who is currently a candidate—evidence would have to be so overwhelming that no one would even question the verdict. And yet, every single case is a ticky-tack, invented “crime.”

For example, Trump supposedly committed fraud—according to New York State—by overestimating the value of his Florida residence, Mar-a-Lago, which he used to secure business loans. The court’s estimate of that property is preposterously low. The banks who loaned money based on Trump’s estimate were satisfied with the estimate, might have estimated the value even higher, and regardless were willing to make the loans—which were repaid with interest. So there is a disagreement about the value of a property; there was no fraud. There was no one harmed or injured monetarily or otherwise. There is no crime. And it certainly was no business of a New York state court to invent one just so they could prosecute the former President and current presidential candidate during the critical election year.

Another one, the classified documents case, is a disagreement about whether the former President can possess his own documents, or whether the National Archives should hold them. And they used a SWAT team at the former President’s residence, attempting to make it look like he was in the act of selling America’s secrets to enemy nations. (I wrote more here.)

The FBI spread out materials on the floor and implied President Trump
was mishandling classified materials, during the Mar-a-Lago raid, August 2022,
image from Wikipedia

Meanwhile, multiple stashes of classified documents were found in the possession of Biden—from when he was VP and a US Senator—both positions that did not entitle him to take any classified documents away from a secure location. And there is evidence, particularly in the University of Pennsylvania stash, that China paid for Biden to have a position there, where he never taught a class or did anything to merit millions of dollars, but coincidentally staffers paid for by Chinese donations just happened to get hired on by the Biden administration. Did the Chinese get access to those documents in exchange for their payments? Or did they just get influence?

I’m not an investigative reporter. If I know about these things, then they are known by other reporters (read more here; also, John Sullivan did good reporting on the University of Pennsylvania/China connection), and by government officials.

What I’m saying is, those who do the wrongdoing are desperately trying to retain their power, and greatly fear a return of President Trump—now that he knows their secrets, because of their conspiring so obviously against him and against the American people.

So, how far will they go? Every time they indict Trump, his poll numbers go up. The American people—and especially conservatives—are law-abiding. So the assumption had been, if he’s indicted, and especially if he’s convicted of something—anything—then his base will abandon him. And that hasn’t happened. People who care about the rule of law aren’t fooled by people who use lawfare as a weapon against them.

If the lawsuits won’t work, there’s taking him off the ballot. But that can’t stand, because it disenfranchises hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, of voters in each of those states—for no legal reason. We have had presidential candidates on the ballot when they were in prison. We have had presidential candidates who have been accused of crimes. That is not a constitutionally disqualifying factor. This will probably be decided by the Supreme Court. Although it’s always worrisome when the preservation of our Constitution depends on the opinions of nine unelected judges, at least we have more somewhat-conservatives on the Court—because of Donald Trump.

The attempt to invoke the 14th Amendment—which was intended to prevent leaders of the Confederacy from running for US President right after the Civil War—requires convincing the country that President Trump committed insurrection—while he was President (thus insurrecting against himself), engaging in investigations into the legality of the election, which it is his duty to protect. They have to label an event that wasn’t an insurrection, just to stir people up, and they have to convince people that asking for peaceful assembly—and later “go home in peace”—was really telling people, by dog-whistle message, to attack the government and stage a coup. Except, there isn’t even an accusation of insurrection in any of the court cases or impeachments against him—because there wasn’t an insurrection.

Meanwhile, there was this insurrection in the US Capitol, which included a US Congresswoman. And this one in the California State Capitol. Don’t expect to see consequences for the participants in these unlawful acts.

So, if taking him off the ballot fails, what else will they try? If they truly believe Trump is Hitler—and their rhetoric certainly portrays him that way (despite the lack of millions of deaths, or authoritarian rule, as they are attempting)—would they try to assassinate him? Tucker Carlson has mentioned it. Others probably as well. But would the Deep Staters dare do that, when it is so obvious that they are conspiring against him?

They aren’t clear, logical thinkers. So I wouldn’t put it past them. But I hope not.

They might try stealing the election again. But usually that only works when the margin of error is small, and when it can be turned by a limited number of places—as in 2020. With 10-point leads, any election tampering—especially when we’re watching, because we saw what they did before—is going to be clumsy and obvious.

So what else will they try? Another pandemic, so serious that they have to “call off the election for the sake of our safety”? I don’t think we’ll buy that, after all the COVID lies. Will they come up with some other disaster?

I don’t know what to picture. But if more bad continues, I can’t envision an election actually happening in November.

My Patriot Supply, among others, is predicting a "black swan event" in 2024,
image from here

I’m not the only one wondering these things. People are starting to use the term “black swan event,” meaning something unforeseen and unpredictable will happen. (There was this mention by Catherine Herridge a little over a week ago. This came up on social media group today; the interviewee suggests it might take the form of a major cyber attack in October.) The thing is, you shouldn’t be able to expect a black swan event, but we’re using the term in predictions—because it’s so likely they’ll try to come up with something, since for them another Trump presidency would end life as they know it (they term this “ending democracy,” in hopes that will fool people).

Meanwhile, we need to keep calm and carry on, as the saying goes.

Good at Last

What if good at last actually happens. What might that look like?

In our country, maybe Biden will become too nonfunctional for them to trot out “Weekend at Bernie’s” style. This seems a likely possibility between now and November. The other possibility is that the growing evidence of his influence peddling as a family business will be seen for the treason that it is, and he will be thrown out. Then what? By law, his VP would be required to step in for the remainder of the term. But that is such a distasteful possibility, I think those now covering for and propping Biden up are assuming they can do that endlessly.

Or maybe his failure will come right about at the time of the Democrat convention, and they’ll just throw out all the Dem Primary votes in the country and come out of the convention with whomever the Deep Staters want—an absolute failure such as Gavin Newsome (note his debate with Ron DeSantis) or the never-run-anything-in-her-life-but-is-a-perfect-shill-for-Barack, Michelle Obama. With only two months in front of the people, maybe they could hide how ineffectual, Marxist, and America-hating she is.

OK, none of that looks like good at last yet.

What if the Deep State got completely uncovered—all the names, all the information? And they all had to leave in disgrace? Every last conspirator against the Constitution! Sweet justice! That would be nice.

Do I picture it happening? It is happening.

This week a list of Epstein names came up. This wasn’t the “black book”; according to Kash Patel, that’s being held by the FBI—for, um, security purposes. This was just the Ghislaine Maxwell trial transcripts with names no longer redacted (except names of victims, which are still redacted). There may be a few new names, but so far nothing earthshaking. Headlines declared that Trump was on the list, but that was for the ignorant. If you read, you find out he is exonerated. He never went to the island. He expelled Epstein from Mar-a-Lago years before Epstein’s first trial. Trump cooperated with investigators into Epstein. And testimony from witnesses in the trial, after being asking repeatedly if they had seen Trump at any of Epstein’s places, was that they had never seen him.

election fraud in the 2020 election

Another news item today is the disclosure of election fraud evidence—by Trump. An X account of KanekoaTheGreat was forwarded to me.  This very long thread starts with an overall summary of the import of this information. Then it goes into a more detailed summary of problems in Georgia. There’s so much wrong with that election that it should never have been certified. That’s as far as I’ve read so far. But next come Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and Michigan. I’ve been following election fraud details all along (read here, here, here, here, here, and here), but these include things I hadn’t been aware of.

The evidence has been there, and accumulating, all along. It has never been allowed to be shown in court—where the American people could see it. So it appears Trump is doing what he does: taking it directly to the people. Expect mainstream media to ignore it.

At some point, though, things have to be made right. The description in Revelation is that Babylon falls in an hour (Revelation 18). And the Savior fights His own battles—actually, it looks like, despite any actual battles being carried out in Armageddon, in the end, His power is so great that the battles are simply ended. Possibly His glory “burns” the wicked (symbolically or literally, or maybe both).

And then the survivors (the decent, upright people of the earth) will establish order according His righteous rule.

That will happen. This year? I don’t know. But, with our world in the mess it’s in, this would be a good time for rescue. And there are some reasons to consider the possibility. For one, there’s a war going on in Israel; that seems like it could escalate any moment into Armageddon.

There’s an eclipse coming up in April—the third in a series over the US, the combined paths of totality forming an aleph, the first letter of the ancient Hebrew alphabet. The first was September 2017, the second October 2023. The April 8, 2024, eclipse falls on the eve of Nissan 1, the beginning of the Jewish new calendar year. Maybe that’s a significant sign in the heavens. It’s not too far into the future for us to wait and see.

Three eclipses over the US form a Hebrew letter aleph,

We did that for the 1290 days mentioned in Daniel 12, counting from the closing of the temples worldwide in March 2020 until October 7, the day of the Hamas attack on Israel. Counting the 1335 days mentioned in the next verse of Daniel—guessing that was a concurrent count, rather than sequential—took us to November 21, 2023, when there was a temporary ceasefire to return many of those who had been kidnapped. Was that a big enough thing for Daniel to have mentioned all those centuries ago? I don’t know. I’m continuing to watch and wait.

Incidentally, five months from November 21 takes us to the eve of Passover, April 21, 2024, which seems significant. What could happen in five months? Revelation 9 mentions a time of torment for five months: “and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.” It’s going to sting. But not to fear if you’re among the righteous, described as “grass of the earth,” “any green thing”, or “any tree,” along with those who have covenanted their allegiance to God, “have the seal of God in their foreheads.”

So there’s going to be something that stings the unrighteous. They’ll want to die and be unable to. I don’t know how to picture this. Descriptions of the “sting” include locusts shaped like horses prepared for battle (armored swarms), with crowns (royalty or government power), hair of women, teeth of lions. I don’t know what that all means. But these scary stinging locust plagues, as John the Revelator saw them, “had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.”

We’re a month and a half into this particular five months, since November 21st, and I don’t see this plague stinging the unrighteous. But maybe it is happening in a way I don’t see or understand. Or (more likely) maybe that five-month plague will happen some other time.

Still, things are happening. There are earthquakes, floods, lightning strikes, solar flares, volcanic eruptions. More than usual? You have to know what’s usual. YouTuber Christian Homestead puts all kinds of things into a spreadsheet—including various natural disasters. It’s accessible in the description of each of his videos. It looks to me like these sorts of disasters are becoming more frequent, and maybe more intense.

One point Jared of Christian Homestead makes is that, however things happen, they’re likely to look natural, such that people who don’t want to believe can ascribe some other explanation—like climate change, for example.

Mr. Spherical Model has pointed out that, if the Second Coming is to “come as a thief in the night,” then looking for really obvious events that everyone can see is probably not going to work.

It may be more like the wise men who looked for the Star of Bethlehem. They knew what to look for, and approximately when to expect it. Other people who were not looking probably shrugged and thought, “Huh, that star is kind of bright. I don’t remember that one being there,” and then going back to their oblivious lives instead of celebrating the Savior’s birth.

What we should expect is that the Second Coming will come in a time of great evil (check). When evil is called good and good is called evil (check). When there are “beasts,” one representing collusions of power spreading across the globe, supported by a second, lying beast that makes the first beast seem powerful. I’d say the Deep State and its corollaries around the world, supported by a combination of media and academia that lie to support the other “beast” is about as clear as any of the symbolic descriptions in Revelation (so, check).

That means the world not going to get better on its own. It’s not likely to get better just because many of us are working in our communities—and working with governments at all levels—to make things better. We need to do those things. But it’s more to declare our allegiance to God than it is to personally win the war against evil.

So, predicting this year: either more bad will keep happening—and we’ve grown accustomed to things not being made right. Or good at last will happen, and all things will be made right, which I think will only happen if this is the year the Savior returns. That would be the brightest outlook for a year that otherwise looks to be both frustrating and scary.

As a line from one of our hymns says, “There is hope smiling brightly before us, and we know that deliverance is nigh.”

May this be the year that we witness good at last.

Deterrence, Prevention, and Real-Time Intervention

This past Saturday, at our local Tea Party meeting, we had the privilege of hearing from Alan Vera on election integrity—including a heavy dose of what we need to do. Alan is an expert on the subject and trains people nationwide in fighting various kinds of election fraud. As one of the originators of True the Vote, he was mytrainer for poll watching back in 2011.

Unfortunately, I missed the first 20 minutes or so of his talk; I was stuck in traffic, spending 40 minutes to travel the last 2 miles. Of course there was no warning of the slowdown until after the only previous exit. I recorded it (here), but I’m missing that first part. Still, there was enough in the hour, including Q&A, that I heard to share a few gems here.

He reiterated the refrain that we need “Deterrence, Prevention, and Real-Time Intervention.” I’ll mostly be looking at his stories of real-time intervention—the stories of what regular citizens have done and need to do, because, as he puts it, “Law enforcement ain’t comin’ over the hill to save us.”

Alan Vera, former Army Ranger, election integrity expert,
speaks at the Cypress Texas Tea Party, July 23, 2022

This first story is from way too close to home—about three miles down the street:

The day before Early Voting in 2020, I got a call from a lady here in West Houston. She had been to the Food Town Grocery at the corner of Highway 6 and FM [farm-to-market road] 529. She came out of the Food Town and was stopped by a young man and young lady, each of whom was pulling a big wagon full of canvas bags. And they said to her, “Would you like to earn a $100 gift card?” And she said, “Well, yeah. What do I have to do?” “Well, just take a handful of these home, sign them, put a stamp on them, and send them in.” And she said, “What are they?”

So they pulled out a stack. It was all mail ballots. Already filled out. Every Democrat candidate was checked. And they showed her, “Just check the name of the voter here. Fold it up, and before you seal it sign your name across that seal. And here is the roll stamps to send it in with.”

And she said, “I don't feel comfortable with that.” She went home and called the Harris County Sheriff's Office, but they said, “We don't do election fraud.”

We don’t do election fraud! Law enforcement ain’t comin’ over the hill to save us.

Sure, we need laws on the books, and we’ve done well at upping some the crimes to felonies. But once the crime is committed, it’s often too late. We need to deter, prevent, and step up—in real time—to stop the steal from happening in the first place.

Another of Alan’s stories is from 2020, when the interim county clerk, replacing the elected county clerk who stepped down amid ethical violations “for health reasons because of COVID,”—that interim clerk did all he could to use the COVID crisis, proving that mail ballots are their chosen election fraud tool:

Back in 2020, you know, County Clerk Chris Hollis held a press conference. He announced that there was going to be a record number of mail ballots in Harris County for that election: 285,000 mail ballots was his confident prediction. We knew the Democrats were going to use try to use mail ballots as their key fraud that election.

So in March of 2020, my wife, Colleen, published the first of two articles exposing the mail ballot fraud ring in Harris County, to get started on it. And we published that, and we said, “What do we do now?” And we said, “Let's pray.” So we prayed.

some of the evidence found by Colleen Vera,
in her 2020 post here

Two days later, I got phone calls from four private investigative agencies. They'd seen the article. They said, “What can we do to help?” We said, “What do you know? How can you help me again?” They said, “We know where the two buildings are which are the mail ballot factories in Harris County. One’s owned by a guy named Womack [?—couldn’t tell what he said]. The other owned by a guy named Dallas Jones. We know where those are.”

So I said, “Tell about that.”

“Well, there's buildings, two-story buildings. People come in, and they go to the top floor, and they work there all day, signing mail ballots—fraudulently signing mail ballots. We know where they are.”

I said, “Well, can you surveille them?” They laughed, and said, “We'll do better than that.”

So they surveilled these two buildings. But they didn't do it clandestinely from two blocks away with binoculars. They were on the sidewalk outside the front door of each building, with video cameras. They were recording the face of everyone going in their door. They were taking photos of their driver's licenses. [I think he means license plates, visible on every car.] They were making it very uncomfortable to go in and out of those buildings.

Two weeks before early voting began, they shut down both facilities, thanks to four private eyes who said, “We’re going to do something.”

That’s only the first part of the story. Here are some more details of a win for the freedom fighters:

And you all have seen the movie 2000 Mules. We didn't have unmanned drop boxes in Texas. But we had worse. Governor Abbott, in his COVID wisdom, extended early voting by a week in 2020. Then he did something much worse. He changed the rules for dropping off your mail ballot in person.

The Texas Election Code says you can drop off your mail ballot in person on only one day: Election Day between 7 AM and 7 PM, and only at the main office of the Early Voting clerk, which is the EA [election administrator]. One day, 12 hours. Governor Abbott extended it to 62 days. 62 days, you could drop off your mail ballot.

Well, I wrote and sent off a letter of protest. Got [Senator] Bettencourt involved, Senator Hughes involved. Said, “You guys got to do something about this.” And then I just prayed. Prayed and prayed and prayed.

Two days later, I got a call from a church leader I'd never met before. She said, “I hear you need some help with mail ballots.” I said, “Yeah, I need 35 poll watchers who will be around 24/7 at NRG Arena and stop the mail ballot fraud to that venue.” She said, “Give me two days.”

Two days later, she had me 35 poll watchers willing to go round the clock at NRG. And I trained them by Zoom call Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. And they did it. They did it. They stood at NRG through rain, and through heat, through wind, thunderstorms. They were there 62 days at NRG Arena.

Did they stop stuff? You betcha.

Car after car would pull up with banker's boxes full of mail ballots filled with mail ballots. And these church poll watchers said, “No, the law says you can only drop off your own mail ballot. That's it. And you must show ID to do so. And the name and signature on your driver's license has to match the name and signature on the carrier envelope. And then you have to sign this form here,” it’s a sign-in form with the time you dropped off your mail ballot.

They upheld that. And they turned away car after car after car, full of mail ballots to be dropped off. They stopped it.

Now, there were a couple of nights that got kind of harry. And, believe it or not, the private detective guys were across the street from NRG Arena with binoculars, making sure our polls were okay. They were watching over them.

Chris Hollins said 285,000 mail ballots. We got 163,000, just average for Harris County in a presidential election. We beat him. We beat him without a single act by law enforcement or any elected official. Real time intervention.

This is not to say you don’t also work with the legislature and law enforcement. This next story is a good look behind the scenes of the legislative fight. To remind you, in the 2021 legislative session, we had a bill, SB1, that would strengthen voter laws in a number of ways. The legislators cut work short by a day, preventing some final bills from passing, which included this one. So the Governor called a special session. The Democrats fled the state so no business could be done. So the Governor called a second special session, by the end of which some Dems were trickling back in. There were three sessions in all, but the “time bomb” was planted in the second:

From August 2020 to October 2020, there were four of us working clandestinely to write the bill that eventually became Senate Bill 1. It was myself representing Harris County Republican Party. It was the Texas Public Policy Foundation. It was Texans for Lawsuit Reform. And it was the Opiela Law Firm up in Austin. We worked for three months drafting Senate Bill 1, and the bill was finally filed that January. 80% of the language was ours.

So we got it done. We hand it off. And now it belongs to Senator Bryan Hughes. And we got to watch the Democrats go apoplectic over Senate Bill 1. They broke quorum. They fled to Washington. They held press conferences. They yelled voter suppression. And we're all sitting back here laughing. The four of us again going, “Gee, no one knows we did that.” But it’s fun to watch them melt down.

So then Senate Bill 1 didn't pass in the regular session, because they broke quorum.  It didn't pass in the first special session. And Democrats are starting to trickle back. Between the first and second special session, we were doing a project for Mike Schofield, and I suddenly remembered, because I’m old, that—Holy Cow! We've got another problem. In Harris County, since the Democrats took over in 2019, in every election we have had more ballots and voters. Another miracle of the loaves and fishes. Every election there were more ballots cast than voters who signed in.

So I approached Senator Bettencourt and Senator Hughes, and said, “Guys, I need to add two sentences to Senate Bill 1.” Just two simple sentences. Just requiring that, every election there be a reconciliation of the number of voters and the number of ballots. They snuck it in there between the sessions.

Now, because the special session starts all over again, Senate Bill 1 was refiled. It wasn’t like an amendment from the floor of the Senate. It was refiled. So these two sentences are at the bottom of page 38 and an 80 page bill. Nobody noticed them. They fought over the poll watchers. They fought over the civil penalties. They fought over everything, but not over that reconciliation issue. It sailed through and was finally passed in the second special session.

So, like a good Army Ranger booby trap, the tripwires were set. The detonators were all primed. and the ammo was all live; the explosives were all live. And it just sat there sat there. It sat there until the March 1st Primary. Isabel Longoria [the appointed Elections Administrator, after the County Commission removed oversight of elections from the County Clerk] had pretty much screwed up everything about the elections. She had screwed everything up. And it was getting harder and harder for [Harris County] Judge Hidalgo to continue to support her—especially when the Communist Chronicle [the Houston Chronicle] even said, “Sorry, Dems, this mess is not the Republicans’ fault.”

Then, on election night, of course we had to sue, because she was not going to finish counting the ballots in the 24-hour period required by law. We had to go to court to sue to give her more time to count the ballots. It took her 41 hours instead of 24 hours.

And then came the moment of truth: the reconciliation form. They signed it at 3:00 in the morning, on March 3rd. They're all sleepy, they're all groggy. And they signed it and sent to Secretary of State. The next day, he called and said, “Harris County, you seem to have forgotten to count 10,000 ballots. Boom! Trip wires went off. Detonators went off. It was great. Lina Hidalgo then asked for Isabel's resignation.

No one knows who did that. Bettencourt knows was, because he helped me get it in there. But it's fun. There's real satisfaction in doing things quietly behind the scenes that nobody will ever know about. It’s important. It's important.

So real time intervention, it's up to us.

There were more stories, and there was more advice. But this is enough for now. Again, he makes sure we understand—this November 8th, no one gets to sit home on election day. We’ve all got to volunteer. Work the polls, or be a poll watcher. Or volunteer at central count. Between now and then, we can help check the voter rolls and clean them up; we can get our neighbors to understand how important it is to vote in this election.

I asked Alan afterward if what I’m seeing is true: if we don’t stop the voter fraud this election, and we lose to Democrat cheating, is that the end of our freedom? Are things that dire?” He said yes, things are that dire.

Don’t be caught sleeping through the demise of our great country, when you could be taking a day off to deploy to somewhere in your county to guarantee free and fair elections. Join in our fight to recover our constitutional republic. Be there for the real-time interventions.

Be Not Dismayed

I had a relatively brief hour of pain on Friday when the top of the hour news announced that the Supreme Court had dismissed the Texas lawsuit as not having standing. But despair just didn’t kick in. If disappointment comes later, it comes. But not yet.

Yesterday was the Electoral College vote, which went as expected. However, the Republican electors from each of the contested states also cast their votes. On January 6, when the votes are counted in Congress, those are there as an alternative—in case things have changed in the meantime.

This is not a first. One example is the 1960 election, when Democrat electors in Hawaii added their alternate votes for John F. Kennedy, just in case.   And they ended up being counted, after contested votes and recounts. People to this day believe that was a stolen election. It may have been. Anyway, the alternate votes are not unprecedented. And they provide a remedy if court cases prove fruitful.

Sidney Powell did an interview with The Epoch Times, on their American Thought Leaders program. When asked about the dismissal of the Texas case, she said,

Sidney Powell, interviewed on American Thought Leaders

It has no effect on our cases, because our plaintiffs are electors, who have constitutional standing in the Electors and Elections clause of the Constitution. So we will not have standing issues in the four cases that I brought. The Court really must address the merits.

Another case is also Lin Wood’s case out of Georgia, which is still before the Court. And another case out of Pennsylvania is also before the Court. There might be a standing issue in one of those, but between the multiple cases that are there right now, someone has to have standing. So one or more of those cases is going to have to be addressed on their merits, or we don’t have a Supreme Court.

Jan Jekielek, the host, asked her to explain standing—because every case that has been dismissed so far has been based on standing, or some other technicality, and not on the merits of the case. Courts have so far refused to view the evidence. She explained:

To bring a case you have to be a party that suffered an actual injury as a result of the conduct that is being complained of. So, for example, the Court was saying that Texas as a state doesn’t have a particular interest, particularly in how other states run their elections.

Attorney Robert Barnes has spoken out against the “standing” argument. It isn’t in the Constitution. It is simply a practice of the judicial system since around 1922. It prevents the courts from being tied up in frivolous suits by weeding out a lot of complaints. But it is being used as an excuse to avoid cases that are unpleasant or politically divisive.

a tweet from the President,
with a "helpful" note from Facebook
As a Texan, I do feel injured by voter fraud in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Nevada, and anywhere else that brought about an unlawful result. Everyone in my state—and the whole country—is injured by that fraud.

I think it was in the Sidney Powell interview where she said it’s like someone broke into your house, and the police, instead of investigating, say, “You bring us the evidence of who did it, and maybe then we’ll do something about it.” That’s not how the justice system is supposed to work. The victim should not be required to do all the investigations; they should just have to show evidence that a crime was committed. The machines should have been impounded and forensically examined immediately after the election, as soon as fraud was suspected.

Nevertheless, do we have evidence that a crime was committed? Absolutely. Powell said,

[In Georgia’s recount] They often ran the same ballot through the same fraudulent counting machines, which did absolutely no good whatsoever. They did not look at each ballot and compare the signatures. If we could even get 100,000 ballots—of the last 100,000 ballots run in Georgia, for example—we could show by instant mechanical analysis the difference in the ballots and the ink.

We know that there were hundreds of thousands of fraudulent ballots imported into the country, likely from China. We have video of some coming across the border from Mexico. There’s other information of ballots being shipped from one state to another. In fact, there was a postal service drive, I think who was sent from New York to Pennsylvania in the middle of the night with a truckload of ballots that was then used to “backfill” the vote count. It’s absolutely absurd. We have more evidence coming in today of a massive load of ballots, I think from Arizona to Georgia.

So they had these warehouses of counterfeit ballots in different parts of the country, apparently, and then shipped them in the middle of the night as needed to backfill in the states where President Trump’s voters poured out in such great number that they broke the algorithm they had pre-programmed in the computers for Dominion to create the fraud. That’s why they had to stop counting in five states.

And that’s why it’s absolutely absurd to say that there wasn’t voter fraud here. We have counterfeit ballots. We have dead people voting—and by the thousands, if not hundreds of thousands. There was something someone called “phantom voters.” There were just more manner and means of fraud than any law-abiding American citizen could possibly imagine. It’s stunning. It’s absolutely stunning. They were so in our face with it. And then to deny it is purely Machiavellian.

More manner and means of fraud than we can imagine. Apparently the other side does not lack imagination; they’ve thrown everything at this election.

Joshua Philipp came out with a documentary yesterday that I highly recommend. They have it on YouTube. But, even though it is a documentary, which is supposed to be allowed by YouTube, it is likely to get censored there. So it is also available at The Epoch Times website, and on a new platform they have created so they can make sure it isn’t censored, now open for others to use as well, called YouMaker.com. I'm unable to embed it, so please use a link.

The documentary takes an hour and a half to lay out the known evidence of election fraud, and traces ties to China, Soros, and others. If we can’t get evidence before a court, then we ought to be sharing it among the American people and the world.

What happens when we know the fraud happened, but the news media and their followers go along as if there was no such thing? What happens now? Is there a path forward?

Joshua Philipp, on his Sunday night Q&A, said,

These different lawsuits are going to delay the outcome of the election. And, as long as there are lawsuits in play, the election is still contested.

The only constitutional deadline is the actual inauguration, January 20th. And challenges in past elections have gone on beyond that. Time is still short, but there are things that can happen. Electoral votes can be challenged during the usually ceremonial reading on January 6th, before the new Congress. A protest was attempted just four years ago, but without effect, because it requires both a House and Senate member to protest in writing. So go ahead and urge your Congressman and Senator to prepare to protest. If a protest is successful, I’m uncertain whether the alternative Electoral votes would be used instead, or if those votes would be removed from the count.

If they are removed from the count and neither candidate gets 270 votes, then the constitutional alternative is that each state gets one vote, based on its majority delegation’s vote, which gives Trump a likely win in that scenario.

Another wild card is that 2018 Executive Order President Trump signed, concerning foreign interference in our election. This requires a report from intelligence organizations by 45 days after the election, which will be Friday, December 18th. Sidney Powell was asked about this:

If that report is an honest report, it’s going to blow the mind of every citizen in the country who’s willing to look at the truth and the facts, because we’ve never witnessed anything like this in the history of this country. And it’s got to be stopped right now, or there will never be a free and fair election.

Joshua Philipp, Sunday night, talked about the 2018 Executive Order as well. Would Trump declare marshal law based on it?

Frankly, given the evidence, maybe if he’s presented— Again, within 45 days of November 3rd, the director of National Intelligence, because of that 2018 Executive Order Trump signed, they’re going to be giving Trump a report based on, that’s going to outline whether there was any instance of foreign influence in this election. Not just directly, but even indirectly through people who were carrying out actions.

At the very least, we can say Dominion has people who are indirectly tied to foreign governments. Based on their structure. Based on their ties to China. Based on its $400 million purchase. Based on several other factors. And Smartmatic, again, ties to Venezuela. That alone would be enough, very likely, for him to enact some of the powers within that.

Someone commented in that Q&A that they thought President Trump would use whatever power was available to him to make sure the results of this election are honest. “It’s now or never. Trump knows the USA is in his hands.” Philipp had said earlier that he thought Trump found the corruption much greater than he had imagined he would face. And here he said:

This is true. Now, imagine you’re in Trump’s shoes, right? I can tell you—again, I work for, Crossroads is a show of The Epoch Times. We’ve been hit by multiple fake news reports. You can see these stories from the outside. You can know that—“Oh, they did this hit piece on this guy, and it was unfair; it was dishonest.” Until it happens to you, and you know your own story, and you know your own background, and you know the facts. And then you see how media twist all that around, and how they lie about it. And how they even fabricate information.

Until you see how they lie to people, until you see it happen to you, it doesn’t have as much power. When you have that clarity, and you see how they are willing to lie for their own political or business interests—

Trump has seen this now. He’s seen it with just about every institution in this country, public or private. He’s seen it in government. He’s seen it in the courts. He has seen it with these different nonprofit organizations. He’s seen it with business. He’s seen it with tech. He’s seen it with the media.

Would he hand this country over to those people? Because those are the people—these same ones doing these things—those are the same people who’ve been telling those lies. These same people who’ve been doing that are the ones who are doing this right now. Would Trump, having that wide view, would he hand over the United States of America to these people, based on what they did?

Look at his character over the past year, and you can tell me your assessment on that. Seeing Trump, and knowing how he works, I cannot see him doing that. I cannot see him handing over this country to those people, when he sees these things from that perspective.

What exactly President Trump will do, I am not certain. Possibly military tribunals? Is that what marshal law entails? I’m not sure. But, whatever he does will require the support of the American people.

We saw the support in droves on Saturday, as people gathered in Washington to “Stop the Steal.” Numbers were hard to determine, because there were four such groups around the capital, and elsewhere around the country.

Numbers tell us that at least 70% of Trump voters believe the election was stolen by fraud. I don’t know how many Biden voters now believe that, because news about it has been censored.

Earlier today I caught the end of a Stop the Steal press conference with electors. A man named Ed Martin talked about the Chinese interference:

Ed Martin, at Stop the Steal press conference
screenshot from here

If there was ever a presidency, now we know where the Chinese regime would want to get rid of one president and get another one in, it’s Donald Trump standing up to them and Joe Biden compromised by the Chinese regime. That’s the facts. Unrefuted. Not Ed Martin’s evidence. Unrefuted facts. It’s what we call proof. And we haven’t seen any response. And now were supposed to just look the other way and it’ll all work out? We’ll have ways to check on it? No we can’t do that. So, the Communist regime, they know this. And we won’t stop. Because we win; they lose. That’s what we know.

He was quoting Reagan there: “We win; they lose.” If we don’t think that way, the only alternative is to succumb to evil.

Sidney Powell gave this parting thought:

This is not about President Trump. He’s just a symbol of “We the People.” It’s about the future of the Republic. We have to fix this. We have to fix it right now.

In the final segment of the Crossroads documentary, Joshua Philipp refers to the principles in our founding and says,

These truths have spread worldwide, inspiring patriots and becoming universal values. The year 2020: the 233rd year since the creation of the Constitution of the United States, establishing fundamental laws and guaranteeing basic rights of citizens, including the rights to life, liberty, and private property.

Yet, if the 2020 presidential election is stolen by communist forces within and outside of America, then the separation of power among the three branches of government in a fair legal system would cease to exist. The freedom to elect would cease to exist. The freedom and equality of the American people would cease to exist. It would be an attempted coup to subvert the foundations upon which the United States of America was built. Communism would slam into the United States like a tsunami. America, the beacon of democracy, would be extinguished, and the world would enter a dark age.

This is bigger than one president. It’s bigger than one nation. It’s also personal for each of us. We must not succumb to evil, no matter how loudly that voice insists, “Resistance is futile.” We must keep fighting evil, however God directs us to do that.

Days That Live in Infamy

This is the 79th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, which led to our entrance into World War II. It was an attack on our nation, on American soil. We still remember it, mark the day, and honor those who died there and who fought thereafter. There was a good movie last year about that attack and the months that followed, called Midway. It’s not the only movie about this event. And who knows what stories will recount the event in the future. I heard that this was the first year that survivors did not attend a memorial service in the nation’s capital. There are still a few survivors alive today, but because of the pandemic, or whatever reason, they did not travel to the event. Still, the the attack on Pearl Harbor remains clear in our collective memory. It woke us up to the threat to our freedom from those who would overthrow our country, our Constitution, and impose tyranny upon us. With God’s help, they did not win.

Images of Pearl Harbor and World Trade Center attacks are from memes found on Facebook.

Another day that lives in infamy is September 11, 2001, when terrorists attacked the World Trade Center with airplanes, and also the Pentagon, and a fourth attempt taken down by heroic passengers before it could attack somewhere in the nation's capital. We responded with war beyond our shores, in the countries that supported the attackers, carrying that on until this year. This attack on American soil also woke us up to the threat to our freedom from those who would overthrow our country, our Constitution, and impose tyranny upon us. While that threat is not gone, in the past few years it has been decimated.

I think we have another day that will live in infamy—if our nation survives it: November 3, 2020. This attack on American soil ought to wake us up to the threat to our freedom from those who would overthrow our country, our Constitution, and replace it with tyranny. We don’t yet know the outcome. But I think we know what happened.

It’s hard to catalog all the cases. The Epoch Times has done a good job of distilling the various types of fraud in the various places into an infographic. (Joshua Philipp also goes through the information on this infographic on an episode of Crossroads.)

The Epoch Times Infographic on Election Fraud

Another large detail this week was the hearing in Georgia in which security footage showed that, after the observers and media were cleared out, several workers pulled out ballots from under tables and spent a couple more hours counting them, unobserved. The video corroborated testimony contained in multiple affidavits.

The complicit media followed up by saying the accusations were debunked; nothing to see here. Erick Erickson,  who was a reliable conservative until he became a never-Trumper, parroted those talking points. I guess people believe what they want to believe. Buck Sexton pointed out the various debunking claims, which don’t line up and can’t simultaneously be true.

Earlier today Mollie Hemingway put out an excellent piece going through the debunking—and destroying it. Pretty much the only thing they were able to “debunk” was that what were referred to as “suitcases” containing votes, because they had handles and wheels, as we could see on the video, were actually “containers” used to carry votes. OK. We still don’t know why they were pulled out from under tablecloth-covered tables only after all the watchers and media left the area. You can’t throw out the whole story because you prefer a different word be used for what we saw on a video. Please read the rest of her very thorough piece.

Another possibly major detail this week is that, over the weekend Trump’s legal team was allowed to do a full forensic audit of the Dominion machines in Antrim County, Michigan. They were given eight hours on Sunday of access to the machines. And they expect to be able to report their findings about 48 hours after that. So we’re looking at hearing something by Wednesday. The machines are supposedly set up so that they do not leave a trace—logs are erased after changes are made. But the digital forensic technicians seem to believe they can still find evidence of the inserted votes, switched votes, and deleted votes. If the evidence is found in the Michigan machines, that opens up the need for such a forensic audit of all such machines—at least in the contested states, and possibly others as well.

One other thing to be aware of is timing. We’ve been looking at December 14th as something of a deadline, with the week before as a “safe harbor” date, meaning it gives Electors enough time to be prepared for the December 14th Electoral College voting. Sidney Powell said this:

We have at least until Dec. 14. We might file more suits. The court in Michigan or Wisconsin today just gave us a great order recognizing that. These are not pure election contests we are filing. These are massive fraud suits that can set aside the results of the election due to this fraud at any time. The states should not be certifying election results in the face of it.

Sidney Powell tweet, found here
But Electors can only vote if their state has resolved voting disputes. If they cannot, then, if they act in time, state legislatures can send their own slate of Electors. If they simply fail to certify Electors—meaning the vote in that state is still in question—and no one receives 270 valid electoral votes, then in early January, the House votes, one vote per state, as prescribed by the Constitution for such a time as this. It may be that even that is not the last date. If the forensics show without a doubt that the election was stolen, remedy must be made; a fraudulent actor cannot be installed as our President.

It’s a tough road. It requires resolve on the part of many people—including Supreme Court justices, who would rather not be put in the arbiter position.

But the alternative is dire.

In a Verdict podcast this weekend, Senator Ted Cruz was talking about what is likely to happen, not just related to the presidential election, but the Georgia senatorial races. He said,

Here’s what I believe will happen with a Biden/Schumer/Pelosi government. I think they’ll end the filibuster, which means there is no ability of the minority to stop the most radical policy proposals they put forward. I think they will pass a massive tax increase—not just repealing the Trump tax cut, but massively increasing taxes. I think they will pass all or major components of the Green New Deal, which will be absolutely crushing to small businesses and jobs. I think they will grant amnesty to every single illegal alien in America and try to make them voters as quickly as possible….

And I think they will add two new states to the union. They will add the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, because they believe they’ll elect four Democratic senators immediately. Which means we could start January with 50 Democratic senators and end the year with 54.

And this is all about power. This is about locking in their power. And I believe, if we lose these two Georgia seats, I believe that the Democrats will pack the US Supreme Court. They’ll put on four radical judicial activists.

Larry Arnn, president of Hillsdale College was interviewed by Patrick Bet-David on Valuetainment, and shared his concern about the possible permanent changes:

Patrick Bet-David (left) and Larry Arnn, screenshot from here

Patrick Bet-David: Is there the possibility of what Reagan said, many years ago, that we’re one generation away from losing our freedom? Is that really something that applies to where we are today, where we can really dramatically change the face of America in one election?

Larry Arnn: Yeah. I’ve been thinking that’s coming for a long time. I think it’s here. You know, these things that we’ve been talking about, they will change the structure of the nation and make it very difficult for ordinary people to have any influence on that.

And here’s something. You know, the intensity of the political debate is like the 1850s. Violence in the streets. Completely divergent views about the Declaration of Independence, it’s meaning, and the Constitution. But now there’s something new. And that is, all of the establishment, all of the people who are in the best and most privileged places—they’re all in agreement with each other. And it’s just breathtaking to watch how uniform and predictable are the things that are said in the media and the things that are said in the academy.

I may have used this scripture, but I’ve been thinking of it since it came up in our scripture study reading recently: Ether 8:23-24. An ancient civilization is ending. We are being told their story by the man who abridged their story while his civilization is ending nearly a millennia later, speaking to those of us in our day who will read these words. He’s warning of the “secret combinations,” the corrupt collusion, that has led to the demise of both of these civilizations. I highlighted the phrases that especially strike me today:

23 Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain—and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be.

24 Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up.

I know that I have been awake to some of it—the injustices, the wrongness of things—for a good part of my adult life. I know I have felt the urgency of this message through more than the past decade. I have been sharing what I believe is true. Is it enough? I don’t know.

So, the question is not whether there was voter fraud; there was. The question is not whether there was enough voter fraud in enough places to change the outcome from Biden to Trump; there was. The question is whether or not we will allow such things to be among us, leading to our destruction.

What I think we’re seeing play out is a connection between the massive voter fraud of the November 3rd election and the massive corruption that has been attempting to overthrow our government for some time. Take note of the now-proven corruption detailed in the Carter Page lawsuit and the Michael Flynn case—both of which were engineered by bad actors within our government against individual Americans for the purpose of staging a coup against our duly elected President Trump. Those who would do that collusion and corruption have not ceased.

If President Trump is successful in overcoming the election fraud, there will be a chance of uncovering the corruption and rooting it out. If he is unsuccessful, then I do not see a way back. We will be living under a full and totalitarian tyranny in a shockingly short time.

Some of the worst can be staved off temporarily if the two Senate races in Georgia go to Republicans—although, note that we already know we can’t trust the voting system in Georgia. Losses there would mean Democrat-run House, Senate, and Presidency, meaning they can go ahead unhindered. A Republican-majority Senate would mean they could stonewall some legislation. These two races need to be won even with a President Trump, to avoid more impeachment shenanigans, which would not be blocked by a Republican Senate.

I hope we are awake to our awful situation. I hope there are enough of us—because clearly a majority of us voted to retain freedom—who will stand firm against this encroaching darkness. Keep praying for the President, for his legal team, and the people’s legal teams, and for those brave individuals who have stepped up to testify to the fraud, at sometimes great personal risk. Pray for judges to have clarity and resolve to maintain the rule of law that keeps us free.

The time is getting short. But it’s still unimaginable to me that this much injustice can be allowed in America. When a burden is too big, too heavy for me to carry, I ask God to carry it. And I’m doing that now. Pray with me that this infamous November 3rd date will live in infamy as yet another unsuccessful attempt to destroy our country.

Although this isn’t my normal format, while we’re working through this election business, there’s too much for me to cover. So again I’m including a list of sources I’ve referred to plus several more. Also, you can find what I’ve already written on the subject in my blog archive; most of November pertains to the election.
